Personal Statement

I am trained as both a clinical psychologist and child neuropsychologist which means I specialise in the impact of brain and cognitive development on mood, behaviour and learning. I assess and treat both clinical psychology difficulties such as depression, anger, anxiety adjustment, and social issues as well as emotional and behavioural difficulties associated with known or unidentified neurodevelopmental concerns.
I offer assessment and treatment which includes cognitive remediation, individual therapies, and school interventions where needed.
I am trained in neuropscience and use the latest knowledge of child brain development to inform my assessment and treatment. The focus is on understanding the brain and cognitive mechanisms underpinning learning, behavioural or emotional difficulties
