This poem I wrote whilst reflecting on my own personal issues,as well as other people’s and how blinded we can be to others that may need our help/kindness etc..

A Glass Window
Peering through
You see the soul breathing in the light of the sun
Giving it life and colour
Such is the picture of innocence
All colours bright and beautiful

Suddenly A stone is cast...
A stunned silence follows;
Blurred,cracked images
Are all that one sees
Through the brittle pain of broken glass;

Many walk past;
Too busy searching
Their souls blinded
By too many stones...too many cracks
Searching to find that light
That their souls used to breathe;

Then like the changing of seasons
A new,stronger window is SUDDENLY found!
Driven by wisdom and a yearning for life it is rebuilt
Revealing the soul once again
Colours and light reflecting
An innocence that was always there.
